I love finding photos on my camera that I never looked at before!

In August 2011 we took a drive from eastern Ontario over to western Ontario…slow and steady….

The views were spectacular, as were the hoards of deer flies, hence the rolled up windows.

The best part about finishing pieces is that all of sudden, I am once again inspired to make and create and explore. It’s pretty easy to get into funks, especially when hibernation is definitely on my mind.

If youre up for some explorations of your own, check out the 24th Annual Contemporary Canadian Jewellery Exhibition (Nov. 24 – Dec. 31) at L.A. Pai Gallery, 13 Murray Street, Ottawa, On.

The opening is this Thursday, November the 24th from 6 – 9 pm.

Unfortunately I won’t be attending this year but please please please say hi to all the lovelies for me!

Of course Isobel and Cleo, a clothing line coming out of both Scotland and Nantucket Island, is beautiful. Charlotte Hess, the senior knitwear designer, is a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and The Glasgow School of Art.

Oh my, what beautiful things you have! I think I have previously talked about ABC Carpet and Home in NYC but I really should just mention it again.

I never really looked into the online version of the glorious institution, but here goes, AMAZING! I love the (very small selection) vintage textile section. I want all! I’m on a little bit of a bedding kick, as the weather cools down I want quilts, and wools, and pelts and knits…I won’t bother continuing.
